We understand that this has been a very difficult week for the Grenfell community as the Inquiry came to a close. The closing statements in particular might have brought up a mixture of emotions, such as feelings of loss, sadness, anger, and people may reexperience symptoms of trauma like remembering what’s happened. Everyone is different and may have a different response and experience.

North Kensington has a long history of talents, creativity and resistance. Come and share your special skills or knowledge that may be part of your heritage, and something you think the community needs to thrive.

Christmas is seen as a time of joy but for some, it can also be a time of financial hardship and worry, loneliness and isolation, grief, increased substance misuse and domestic violence. Any of these factors could impact a person’s wellbeing but at a time of the year when there is pressure to appear happy and buy a memory, it can be unbearable.
