My name is Sofian Taghi and I am born and bred in the North Kensington area. I have lived, studied and worked my whole life in this community and feel very privileged to do so. I did my degree in Sport science as I have a deep passion for sport, health and activity. By trade I am a Primary school teacher and have taught for over six years across mainstream, SEN and PRU school settings. I also work with children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities coming up to seven years. I am eager to offer young children and adults a platform of equal opportunity and tackle any stigmas of discrimination. I want to see my community grow, develop and increase better standards of living – ensuring wellbeing is at the forefront of my vision.
