The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Outreach Team will be at the Silent March on Saturday 14 December 2019, wearing their NHS ID badges.

During the day, from 11am to 6pm, they will be at the ground floor of The Curve (W10 6TH) and available to help.

You can also call them on 020 8962 4393, 9am to 8pm, and 10pm to 7am.

Dr John Green, Clinical Director of the Grenfell Health & Wellbeing Service said:

“30 months on we continue to stand alongside the community and offer our support to families, especially knowing how tough it can be in the holiday season. We’re particularly thinking about the children; two and half years is a long time in their lives.

“We are funded for at least another four years and have established a Dedicated Service for the bereaved and survivors to provide an integrated service for physical and emotional needs. More information on this here.

“That’s doesn’t mean that the community outside those families will see us less but the services needs to change. We have been consulting widely in the community about the shape of the service for those next four years – again with a particular emphasis on children and young people, more details of which we will be announcing in the New Year.”

The GHWS has treated over 2,000 people and trauma-screened more than 10,000.
