The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service has published a question and answer session between a Young NHS Grenfell Ambassador, and a CNWL Consultant Psychiatrist, on the Grenfell Anniversary and COVID 19.
Shaheed Mrimou, Young NHS Grenfell Ambassador asked Dr Ed Beveridge, Consultant Psychiatrist and CWNL Lead for Physical Health in Mental Health Services, a number of questions, submitted to Shaheed by young people from the Grenfell community.
During the session, Dr Ed answers questions like whether or not people can catch COVID-19 twice, and what people should do if they think they feel unwell with COVID-19 symptoms or stress, and anxiety.
It’s part of a series of videos produced under Amell El-Guenuni, Systemic Therapist with the Grenfell Service, for Kids on the Green.
Young Grenfell is a joint NHS and community support group, empowering young people, affected by Grenfell. The group is run by therapists from the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service (GHWS) and the community youth group, Making Communities Work and Grow (MCWG), as part of the Together for Grenfell community collaboration initiative.
The group was started because many young people in the community reported feeling ‘disempowered’ and ‘invisible’ after Grenfell.
