The Community Check-In is about creating a confidential, compassionate space for community members to come together. We ‘check in’ with ourselves and each other, finding support with moving through this particular stage of the post-Grenfell fire journey.  Community injury calls for community healing.

As a service, Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service wants to support people with the uncertainty that so many of the Grenfell community are, and have been, living with for so long.  We are aware that for some, this prolonged sense of being ‘in limbo’ has had a negative impact on people’s emotional wellbeing, leading to poorer mental health and increased likelihood of burnout.

In the Community Check-ins, you can reflect on how you’re feeling, find out how your neighbours/community members are doing and share supportive time together. These sessions are framed with creative ways of connecting, such as art, music, movement, sharing and listening, and play. Each session will be co-crafted with partnering organisations.

These are safe and confidential spaces, with group guidelines agreed on at the start of each event.

Our next scheduled event is taking place on:
Thursday 3rd April at The Invention Rooms, 68 Wood Lane, White City, W12 7TA 11am – 1pm

These events are open to all community members (although age restrictions may be apply to certain sessions).
