Two senior psychologists from the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service spoke at the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies conference in London on 11 April 2019.

Dr Sarah Heke gave a keynote address, highlighting the unique way that the Grenfell service has approached engaging the North Kensington community in designing and delivering traditional therapies.

Also, Dr Heke and Dr Alastair Bailey conducted a full day workshop for clinicians which described in depth how the services for Grenfell victims have developed and the lessons learned so far.

Dr Ryan Kemp, Director of Therapies for CNWL, commented: “It is heartening to see our clinical leaders sharing these insights learnt from our work with the Grenfell community. There are ways of working emerging in this team which are truly ground-breaking and it is morally right that we share these developments. Busy teams can benefit from taking stock from time to time and this work is a credit to all the staff in the service.”
