The independent Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission is hosting two drop-in events for North Kensington residents in February.

The events will be an opportunity to find out about the Memorial Commission, the work to finalise its membership, and its plans for the future. Visitors will be able meet the commission’s community representatives, ask questions and learn more about how to be involved in what happens next.

All of the events are designed to be drop-ins, so residents do not have to stay for the entire event. There will be refreshments, a creche facility where possible (see poster for more information) and printed information for visitors to take away.

The events will be happening on:

• Monday 10 February 2020, from 4pm to 7pm, at Kensington and Chelsea College, Kensington Centre, Wornington Road, W10 5QQ• Wednesday 12 February 2020, from 4pm to 7pm, at Kensington and Chelsea College, Kensington Centre, Wornington Road, W10 5QQ

What is the Memorial Commission?

The Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission is made up of bereaved family members, survivors and Lancaster West residents. It will work with the community to decide on the most fitting way to remember those who lost their lives in the Grenfell tragedy, and on how the memorial site will be owned and sustainably managed in the future.

These events are specifically for North Kensington residents. Separate events are also running for bereaved families, former residents of Grenfell Tower and Grenfell Walk, and Lancaster West Estate residents.
