Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service acknowledges that many people will experience different reactions and feelings about the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

As a figure who has been consistently present in the public eye for most of the population’s whole lifetimes, this absence and loss may feel destabilising at a time we are most in need of certainly and stability. The news, although inevitable, has perhaps come as a shock and reminder of previous losses.

As an NHS Service we have entered the official mourning period for 10 days.  What this means is that we carry on with our work, but we do so quietly with respect for the mourning period and with respect for the people who are grieving this loss.

We acknowledge the pain of those grieving the loss of 72 lives in the Grenfell fire.  We remain here for you.

Please get in touch if you are affected by Grenfell and wish to speak to someone about how you are feeling.  You can reach us on 0208 637 6279 between 8am to 8pm everyday.  After 8pm, please call the CNWL Advice Support line on 0800 0234 650.
