We are proud to work in partnership with Minds United Football Club, to improve the wellbeing of the North Kensington community through football.

The London-based community football club has published its annual report, and latest newsletter.

Minds United FC actively support adults experiencing mental health problems and substance misuse. They run a number of projects offering free, fun football sessions to improve people’s wellbeing.

The club has a partnership with CNWL’s One Community, providing sessions for patients at St Charles Hospital and those affected by Grenfell.

In its annual report, Tarik Kaidi, Founder of the club said: “Through the power of football, we help adults to improve their physical, social, emotional and psychological wellbeing in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.

Many thanks to the Board, supporters, volunteers and club members for their continued dedication to ensuring the club is run efficiently. Also, thanks to the players for their loyalty during training and on match days.”

The club has been making a positive impact on the lives of people in the community.

NHS Staff member:

“Minds United FC has improved my mental health. I love football and have enjoyed taking patients from St Charles. We all benefit. It is a wonderful community.”

Patient at St Charles Hospital:

“I was on a ward for about a month and got the opportunity to play football. I’ve always been into football, but lost touch over the last two or three years. It’s good fun, making everyone happier.”

We look forward to continuing our work with Minds United FC.
