Are you troubled by flashbacks or nightmares?

Do you often feel ‘on edge’?

Take part in a new therapeutic group

We’re offering a new short-term treatment to help people suffering with the after-effects of trauma related to the Grenfell fire. It is open to anyone in the community affected by Grenfell.

It’s a therapeutic group based on a treatment known as EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy.

EMDR is an effective way of helping people get relief from trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). EMDR involves moving your eyes from left to right repeatedly while remembering a traumatic event. You remain in control and fully alert. It is not a kind of hypnosis. It has been shown to reduce the disturbance of traumatic memories and is an officially-approved NHS treatment.

We will shortly be starting an EMDR group.

Would you like to be part of it?

The group will meet weekly on Zoom, with approximately five or six members. You will be asked to attend four sessions. During the group meetings, you will not be asked or expected to share any details of your traumatic memories with any other members.
