Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service are launching a new group which will provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can listen to myths and stories from around the world and explore common ground through the art of narrative.

This group will provide a safe and supportive environment to listen to universal myths and adult fairy-tales from around the world. Each week, you are invited to discuss these and share the version of these stories from your country or origin if you choose to – but you are most welcome to just come along and listen to a story, have a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit or three and immerse yourself in the age-old wonder of a well told story – something that delights and brings joy, no matter what age you are!

The group is open to adults aged 18 and above who currently access services at Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Services. The group’s aim is to help those who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns. It is for those who wish to immerse themselves in the art of storytelling, to come along, relax and let a story take you to the castles, riverbanks and woodland creatures of the world.

When: 20 May for six weeks

Time: 12pm – 1:30pm

Where: Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Services, St Charles Hospital, Exmoor Street, London W10 6DZ
