We welcome the Government’s announcement that amendments made ahead of Victims and Prisoners Bill to the House of Commons ensures that survivors of major incidents like the Grenfell Tower fire will receive the help and advice quickly when they need it.
This is a vital role in any major disaster and is a step in the direction for to better support victims and look forward to the role developing further.
