The Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service has produced a short video for parents and carers of young children, who may be experiencing anxiety and other difficulties during the COVID pandemic.

The pandemic has brought up difficult feelings for everyone, and young children, particularly those who have experienced trauma, will be affected and will express this in different ways.

It’s part of a series of videos produced under Amell El-Guenuni, Systemic Therapist with the Grenfell Service, for Kids on the Green.

In the video, Caterina Fadda, Under 5s Specialist at the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service provides three tips that parents can use to reduce the emotional impact on young children.

Families can also encourage their children to take part in our Draw my Hometime project, where they draw a picture of their home life, and write a short description, then share on Instagram  @GrenfellNHS
