We’re looking for Service User Consultants (Dedicated Service) to join our team.
Service User Consultants are people who have accessed or are accessing our services. They have lived experience of emotional distress, and are willing and able to share aspects of their experience for the benefit of others.
This role requires a combination of face to face, and remote work at various community locations in North Kensington, primarily St Charles Hospital. Ability to do some face to face project work is essential.
Core work hours: At least four hours of work per month – usually falling between Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.
Among other things, you will have personal experience accessing the ‘Dedicated Service’ within the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service, lived experience of emotional distress, and a willingness to share aspects of this experience to improve services. You will have strong interpersonal skills, be compassionate, non-judgemental and able to work with a diverse range of staff, service users and community members in a culturally sensitive manner.
